Mr. Murdoch is the retired Financial Controller for a company that owns eight small casinos in Nevada. He graduated from the University of Utah with a BS in Accounting. He has worked in the field of accounting, primarily in the gaming industry, since 1993. Mr. Murdoch has sung in the Nevada Opera Chorus, Sierra Master Chorale, and many other singing groups in the area. He has soloed with the Sierra Master Chorale and performed roles for Nevada Opera; Lyric Opera Theatre at the University of Nevada, Reno; and the Western Nevada Community College Theatre. He currently sings in P’Opera!. Mr. Murdoch has been a member of numerous Boards, including the Sierra Master Chorale, Bella Voce, and his condo association, serving as treasurer for most of these organizations. Mr. Murdoch has lived in Reno since 1973.
